Description

This needle felting device is built to allow passage about 80 felting needles through woolen or other natural felt-able fiber by pushing downward on the spring loaded top board, whilst the fiber rests upon a foam surface [foam not supplied]. An area of approximately 3-5/8″ X 4-1/2″ is covered by each stroke of the mechanism. The needles act to draw fibers downward and upward with each stroke very efficiently, allowing bat formation on large or small project pieces.  Requires approximately 70 pounds force per 1 inch stroke, and the 4 inch long felting needles penetrate the roll-logs or raw wool fibers. Good upper body exercise!
